Whitney Home

Prominent in the heart of the “Kirtland Flats”, Newel K. Whitney’s home still stands on the northwest corner and serves as a visitors center for the Whitney Store across the street.  Although somewhat larger than the original home, one can still appreciate the sacrifice and hospitality of Newel K. Whitney, his wife and their five children as they welcomed Joseph and Emma into this home.
