The Restoration in Images

Haun's mill was established on Shoal Creek by Jacob Haun.  In October, 1838, the small settlement was attacked by a mob.  Seventeen were killed and another twelve were seriously wounded.

There is nothing left today to indicate that this site was once a small but thriving settlement.
