The Restoration in Images

Mendon, New York

Mendon has no significance to the restoration to the church, other than several prominent early members of the church lived here. A map of Mendon along with accompanying descriptive text has been drawn up by J Sheldon Fisher, but street numbering has changed since the map was made, and we were not able to find many of the houses.

 In the middle distance is the site of Brigham Young's combination house and Mill

The Solomon Kimball house is located on the Boughton Hill road, somewhere near the county line.
