The Restoration in Images

The  Prophet Joseph Smith was born in Sharon, Vermont on December 5th, 1805.

 The cabin itself is gone, but a stone door step, well, and other items mark the place of the original site.

A tall granite shaft 38 1/2 feet tall commemorating his birth stands near the remains of the Smith log home.

The Solomon and Daniel Mack homes were built near a stone bridge for the turnpike which traversed the area
